SIA “Sonido” is a social enterprise that has provided outsourced call center services, telemarketing, and multichannel customer service for companies in various industries across the Nordic region and the international market since 2013.

Our social impact in Latvia is an additional value of our business model. It creates jobs for people from groups at risk of social exclusion and helps reduce loneliness in Latvia. Our clients value this social impact and reflect it in their sustainability reports.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our Guidelines and Core Ethical Principles

Our philosophy sets forth the principles that guide our relationships with customers, employees, and business partners.

We understand that our actions affect society. It is our responsibility to actively contribute to protecting the environment around us.

In our daily work, we implement solutions that help save electricity, water, heat, and fuel. We also reduce paper consumption as much as possible and sort waste.

Through our everyday actions and attitude, we want to contribute to sustainable development and support the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Goal 1: No poverty As a social work integration enterprise, we provide employment opportunities to groups of people who might otherwise not have such access.
Goal 3: Good health and well-being We promote emotional well-being, a sense of belonging, and opportunities for people from different groups in society to participate fully in working life.
Goal 5: Gender equality We ensure equal opportunities for everyone regardless of age, beliefs, or orientation, and we create a balanced working environment.
Goal 8: Decent work and economic growth We build an inclusive, supportive, and human working environment with equal opportunities to earn a living and develop professionally.
We contribute to the development of society by cooperating with the non-governmental sector and supporting the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Latvia and Europe. We do not engage in financing political parties, but we do participate in civil society activities.

The foundation of call center operations is building and maintaining trustworthy relationships with clients. The company has internal rules and procedures for cooperation with clients so that everyone knows how to act in different situations.

Clients are our priority, which is why we seek to understand their needs and provide the highest possible service quality. Employees have access to the client information necessary for their work.

We reserve the right not to start cooperation if a potential client does not align with the company’s values. Such matters are evaluated at management level.

Complaints, criticism, and suggestions for service improvement are reviewed immediately and professionally.

Clients trust us with their information, and we honour that trust by maintaining confidentiality and protecting personal data.

Every employee represents the company, so communication must reflect the company’s values and be coordinated according to competence and the procedures defined by management.

We view competition in a healthy way and strive to be better than our competitors, but we do not engage in unethical or unlawful practices and do not cooperate with those who could damage our reputation.

A healthy work environment is essential to the well-being of our employees. That is why we provide an accessible environment for all employees, including people with different types of disabilities.

Workspaces are introduced together with a manager or colleague so that the person can understand the surrounding environment. Workplace equipment is adapted to individual needs, ensuring accessibility and convenience.

If an employee has a guide dog, a suitable space is also provided, and colleagues are informed about the appropriate attitude and cooperation.

If the job involves computer use, software, keyboard, and mouse are adapted according to the employee’s needs and the specific situation.

The environment must be physically accessible and comfortable. During the first working days, duties are learned together with a colleague in order to identify possible obstacles in time and document them when necessary.

Special attention is paid to occupational safety instructions so that the employee understands them and can follow them safely.

Lighting intensity is adjusted according to the employee’s needs, especially in cases involving visual impairment or residual vision.
